Why Kennedy Skincare

Not all facials are
the same. Not even close.

Most facials are theater. They feel good, you leave glowing, and by Thursday your skin is back to exactly where it was. Here's why Kennedy is different.

Typical Chain or Spa Facial

HydraFacial, Heyday, Spa Day

Kennedy Skincare

Corrective Clinical Facial

Before your treatment

You fill out a form, check a few boxes. The esthetician skims it, maybe asks one question, then starts the same protocol they do on everyone.

Before your treatment

Kelsey reviews your intake form before you arrive, then spends the first part of your session examining your skin under magnification. She identifies what's actually happening — the root cause, not the symptom.

The treatment itself

Same steps, same products, same order — for every client. The machine does most of the work. It's designed for efficiency, not your specific skin.

The treatment itself

Built from scratch based on your diagnosis. Products, modalities, pressure, and order are all chosen in the moment for your skin — that day, not the average client's skin.

Extractions

Often skipped entirely, or done quickly and lightly to avoid complaints. Deep congestion is left untreated.

Extractions

Proper manual extractions done only where needed. Congestion cleared safely and thoroughly — without inflammation. Your pores actually clear, not just look clear for a day.

Who performs it

Rotating staff. Could be someone with 6 months of experience or 10 years. You often don't know until you're already on the table.

Who performs it

Always Kelsey. She knows your skin from the first visit, remembers what worked, and builds on it every session. No handoffs, no reintroductions.

What you leave with

A nice glow. Maybe a product recommendation pitched at checkout. Your skin is back to baseline by the weekend.

What you leave with

A written at-home routine, specific to your skin. You know what you're using, why, and in what order. The results build on each visit instead of resetting.

Long-term results

Maintenance at best. The same concerns resurface because the cause was never addressed — just the surface.

Long-term results

Corrective. Over a consistent program, clients see real changes — cleared acne, faded pigmentation, visibly lifted skin. Because the cause is being treated, not polished over.

Pricing FAQ

Common questions.

At Kennedy Skincare, the signature Customized Facial starts at $250 and runs 45 minutes depending on what your skin needs. New clients can try the Introductory Skin Analysis Facial — the same 45-minute facial — for $49 (one-time new-client offer, regular price $250).
The Customized Facial is the core 45 minute treatment built around any skin diagnosis. The Acne Facial is a longer, more aggressive protocol for active cystic, hormonal, or congested acne — and includes targeted extractions, salicylic peel options, and high-frequency or LED finishing.
Your facial is built around your skin diagnosis. Final pricing depends on which modalities your skin actually needs that day (LED, microcurrent, dermaplaning, etc.). The starting price is what you'd pay for a baseline treatment in that category.
Yes. The Kennedy Skincare Program is a 90-day membership that includes monthly custom facials at member pricing, prescription-grade homecare, quarterly skin re-imaging, and direct text access to Kelsey. It's by invitation after your first facial.
Yes. Gift cards are available in any amount and emailed instantly to the recipient. Contact us to purchase.
Before: stop retinol 3 days out, no waxing or dermaplaning within 5 days, skip the gym right before. After: no heavy makeup, sweating, retinol, or strong actives for 24 hours. Wear SPF. Your skin is in active repair for 24 hours post-treatment.
For maintenance, every 4–6 weeks. For active concerns — acne, pigmentation, anti-aging — Kelsey typically recommends monthly sessions for 90 days, then reassessing based on results. She'll give you a specific recommendation after seeing your skin.
Yes. Kennedy Skincare retails the same professional-grade lines used during treatment. If something works on your skin in the session, you can take it home. You'll leave with a written at-home routine and can choose what to purchase — no pressure.
Yes. Kelsey is a California-licensed esthetician with advanced training in corrective skincare, acne, pigmentation, and collagen induction therapy. Kennedy Skincare is a clinical esthetic studio — every treatment is performed by Kelsey personally, not a rotating staff.
Med spas are physician-supervised and offer injectable, laser, and prescription-only treatments. Kennedy Skincare is a licensed esthetic studio — we specialize in corrective facials, microchanneling, and medical-grade homecare. We often work alongside clients who also see a dermatologist or plastic surgeon and focus on the in-between maintenance that injectables and lasers can't do.
No. Microchanneling is a standalone treatment — your skin needs to be prepped properly and shouldn't have additional active treatments layered the same day. Most clients alternate: microchanneling one month, facial the next, depending on their program.
